My gift to you…

Just a short post today to share both some good news and bad news.

The bad news is, I’m taking a little rest from PsychWriter. As my fiction platform gains momentum, I’ve discovered that there’s actually only 24 hours in a day (I looked into the science quantum physics AND cloning myself, but that would take even more time to happen…), and that I don’t cope so well without sleep. It’s not forever, which is why there’s good news…

I originally started PsychWriter because I wanted to pay-it-forward. So many generous souls who’d shared their knowledge molded the writer I am, so I wanted to give back in some way. Sharing my psychological knowledge was a way to do that.

So in the spirit that this writing community is built on, I’m making Grit for Writers and Hook your Readers FREE. So, not only will the website stay live so writers can access past articles, you can also grab lots of great advice on my two passions – writing a bloody good book and developing the necessary persistence to make it happen – with these two books. FOR FREE!

Till next time, I want to thank you for all your support and kind words. PsychWriter was just an idea to share information, I never expected it to gain the following it has. I’ll email you as soon as there’s new content 🙂

Happy writing,

  2. I am glad you are taking care of yourself, even though I will greatly miss your posts. It’s good you’re paying attention to your limits rather than trying to do too much and burning yourself out. We can all learn from this. 💜

    1. Thanks, Angela. All the lovely emails have shown me how valued the posts have been, which has been deeply touching. In fact, it’s been really motivating! Looking forward to coming back now xoxo

  3. You are a wise woman! I have taken 3 giant steps back from social media and guest blogging because I realize I have to spend the better part of my creative energy on writing the book. I just kept spreading myself too thin. When you have a book release it’s not over and then you have to so some of the marketing. I will share this post for you and anytime you need me to post to my profile or page just let me know. Happy to help! 🙂 Thank you for the free books – this is a great way to get your rank boost on Amazon! 🙂 As I said, Wise Women

  4. We all have to stop and refocus sometimes. I wish you all the best with your fiction (it really seems to be taking off) and we’ll forgive you for taking a break from psychwriter 🙂 It has been a great resource website for us all xx

    1. Thanks Lauren. It feels good to recharge (new ideas for topics and books are already percolating!) and it’s nice to just focus on one thing for a little while. Hope the writing is going well 🙂
